Ménage Quad

Menage Quad is an 9 piece live electro swing hip hop group out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Quad is composed of four MC’s, a drummer, bassist, trumpeter, trombonist, and DJ. Deriven conceptually from Parov Stelar’s Princess Tour, MQ attempted to create an original sound melding UK influences of electro swing with the notorious underground hip hop scene in Minneapolis. After the release of their first single, “Listen to the Music” in May of 2013, the Quad gained fast attentions from national news sources such as CBS News, and CEO’s of companies like Mediafire and Frostwire. Following this release, the music video for the single received 200,000 views in less than a few days. Shortly afterwards, they released their debut self titled EP, and a few months later, their first full length album entitled, Swing Soiree.
